Reon Pomeranians ~Oregon~

Ron and I were Reon Pomeranians and together for over 28 years. We have a son and a daughter and 5 grandchildren. Our son lives in North Carolina with his wife Rita, son Andrew and daughter Emily, our daughter lives in Vancouver, Washington with her husband Mark, son Carson and daughter Taylor. We enjoyed the time we could spend with our grandchildren.

We lived in Redmond, Oregon for many years on our small ranch. We raised and showed livestock of all kinds and Dogs. I was a 4-H leader for 14 years, then I became the Sheep Barn Superintendent for 2 years and Herdsmanship Judge for 2 years. Deciding to get more involved in showing the dogs after our daughter graduated from high school. At that time we were showing Chinese Shar-pei.

In 1996 we moved to Grants Pass, Oregon. We started showing Pomeranians about 14 years ago. We have raised and shown the following breeds; Pembroke Welch Corgi, Chinese Shar-pei, Doberman Pinschers, Standard Poodles and Pomeranians.

We have met many acquaintances and friends along the way. Thanks to my friend and handler Geri Arnold we have finished a Standard Poodle and two of my Pomeranians.

Ron passed away on February 7, 2009 from lung cancer. The following memorial is for him. Thank you Christy and Pat for this lovely memorial. I appreciate it greatly.

Since 2007

Well in August 2010 I should have the first litter of Pomeranians in 4 plus years. I am hoping for something to be able to show. Red Hots Spiced Marmalade (Marme') was bred to CH Reon's Shilo V Arn-ette (Shilo) and it would be wonderful to have some babies to show. I haven't shown much in the past 2 years and I really miss the friends and acquaintances I have met along the way.
