"There is
no psychiatrist like a puppy licking your face." -Ben Williams
Why we
breed.....
In order to
achieve consistency in our breeding program, we do not breed at
random. When choosing a breeding pair, we carefully examine each
Sire and Dam, matching strengths to weaknesses in hopes of
improving the features and health of our future offspring. Every
litter is planned in hopes of finding our next show prospect,
but as time has taught us few litters will have only show
prospects. Every litter has the potential to produce both show
prospects and companions, but regardless of physical features
and show potential, all are healthy happy puppies.
This year we are looking for a few dynamic boys and girls to
join the Gemini family and have several litters planned to help
us achieve that goal. But, we just can't keep every puppy and,
as a result, we will be looking for show and pet homes for a few
pups born this year. We will be adding updates when each litter
is born. Feel free to contact me about future litters and
available pups.
We expect to have some very nice show hopefuls
available this summer as we have been especially blessed :)

*Hint about buying a show dog*
If you like a dog or a pedigree for
showing... a good idea is to check with the breeder of that
dog/stud/bitch or the breeder of its parents to get a good
history of its lineage as well as a recommendation about the
seller. Just because someone has pups for sale from certain
lines doesn't mean they have the blessing of the breeder who
made the parents. ;)
*Hint about buying a companion dog*
If you like a puppy, remember that all
puppies are cute. A good idea is to check out where
your puppy comes from, get to know the breeder, ask around
about that breeder-are they trustworthy? Do they belong to a
breed club where they donate time and money to the
betterment of the breed? Just because someone has pups for sale
doesn't mean they are a quality breeder with quality pups...
high prices don't guarantee a quality puppy. ;)
We have decided to cut
back on some of our adults to make room for our up and
coming kids so have made available-

Puppy's View of the World
IF I like it, it's mine.
IF it's in my mouth, it's mine.
IF I can take it away, it's mine.
IF I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
IF it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
IF the toys are out, all of them are mine.
IF it looks just like mine, it's mine.
IF I think it's mine, it's mine. - Unknown Author

*Words
of wisdom- Beware
of "no show policy", even if you aren't looking for a show dog. There is NO
SUCH THING as a toy or miniature Pom. There is only one
standard. Use common sense when purchasing a Pom (or any pet
for that matter) look at where it comes from and if it looks dirty and unkempt
then you are likely going to have a sickly, frightened puppy. FYI-if someone is trying
to tell you they have an "exotic" colored puppy (like wolf sable or
white or tri colored or Heaven forbid "pink"!)... check around, they may be
pulling your leg, or not know the difference. Most of the time it is an average
color that lots of Poms come in
or not the color they are trying to sell you at all.*
AKC registered Gemini puppies come
with their first vaccinations & worming, vet check, puppy supplies as well as a
baby blanket that smells like the "nursery", a research ped on both
parents, and a Pom information pamphlet of anything you
might need to know.
If you are looking for a
little ball of fluff to bring joy and love to your life, feel free to drop
me a line. I don't maintain a general waiting list, as it is
just to difficult to keep current, so keep watch on the WEB site. I do keep a
list for a specific litter that has been bred, so if you would like to be added, please email me. If you
would like any information about Gemini Poms drop me a line at
geminipoms@pomsites.com, or give me a call

you're looking for I may
know someone who
does!
